3: The Comet - (Dance of the Leonids)

You experience the anticipation of the comet's approach, then the awe of it’s presence, as it's accompanying meteors dance like cosmic fireworks all around it.

It’s profound effect on anything that it’s orbit comes in close proximity to, contrasts to when in solitary flight; a thing of grandeur.

It’s destructive force, almost forgotten.

But, as it circles around and this pattern of behaviour repeats, it’s orbital oscillation has shifted it into the path of another astronomical presence.

And the inevitable outcome ensues...
