Dunmore Park House and Pineapple - 4K Drone Footage
Dunmore Park House is an abandoned ancestral home in Airth, Scotland, featured in the first episode of the Outlander TV Series.
The Pineapple was built in 1761 by the Earl of Dunmore as a summerhouse.
At this time, pineapples were among Scotland’s most exotic foods.
The Pineapple is now looked after by the National Trust for Scotland.
The premise for the music was centred around 2 main concepts:
Something Scottish and haunting sounding, representing the previous heritage of the estate and it's connection with the Murray family who held the peerages of Earl of Dunmore and once maintained the estate which has now fallen in to ruin.
A subtle military feel, representing the military background of various members of the family, most significantly the first Earl of Dunmore - Charles Murray who was a General in the British Army.
